International Day of Happiness

In the United States, today is the first day of Spring.  However, this year, it's also the first ever United Nations International Day of Happiness.

So, in recognition of annual renewal and the global pursuit of happiness, I'm launching this new beta version of the Gumption Studios LLC website.  This is a new beginning.  

Begin With Your Bucket List

Last week, I was a guest at a spring mixer for a local chamber of commerce.  As you might imagine, I was asked "What do you do?"  My reply was simply this:  "I help people and organizations work on their "bucket lists."

After a smile comes over the face of the person asking the question, I cite that most people wait until the end of their careers or their lives, for that matter, to work on what they truly want to do.  I ask "Why not start now?"  

 

At the end of 2006, I left a comfortable, six-figure job in Silicon Valley to begin an adventure halfway around the world, and I've been working on my own bucket list ever since.
